Who we are:
The MENA Community is a network of individuals living with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) in the Middle East and North Africa region
The organization was founded at the end of 2019 with the aim of raising awareness about the disease and providing support and assistance to individuals living with it.
MENA Community was founded by a group of activists dedicated to improving the conditions of those living with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). The founding team is distinguished by extensive experience in the field of disease control and providing support to individuals living with it. They are passionate advocates in their respective countries

Our Mission
MENA Community’s goals are centered around enhancing leadership and empowering individuals living with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and those most vulnerable in the region.
The organization focuses on providing the necessary support and knowledge to enhance the capabilities of individuals living with AIDS and empower them to actively participate in improving healthcare and raising awareness about the disease in the community.
- MENA Community organizes regular training sessions and workshops aimed at developing leadership skills and social skills among youth and individuals living with the disease. Topics of these sessions and workshops vary and include:
- Personal leadership.
- Communication skills development.
- Time management.
- Dealing with psychological and emotional challenges.
- Additionally, MENA Community works on enhancing experiences and knowledge, shedding light on the challenges faced by individuals living with the disease and their demands. This participation aims to increase awareness about the disease and encourage the adoption of policies and programs that contribute to improving care and support provided to individuals living with it.
- On the other hand, MENA Community has organized several training sessions on comprehensive healthcare coverage, providing participants with an opportunity to understand the importance of comprehensive healthcare coverage and how to implement it in their countries. The organization has also provided educational materials and informative videos on the subject, contributing to increased awareness of the importance and benefits of comprehensive healthcare coverage
